Illicit Drug Labs (IDL) or Clandestine Drug Labs (Clan Labs) can be deadly to responders that may be called out to an incident or stumble across one during the course of their duties. Toxic gases, hazardous chemicals, explosive substances, booby traps and violent, paranoid individuals are just some of the risks that you may be exposed to you.
Perseus Training have teamed up with NES. NES are based in the United States and are probably the leading organisation involved in the training of thousands of responders in the safe and effective handling and awareness of illicit drug labs. NES has over 20 years of experience in this field and trains the United States Drug Enforcement Agency and most major metropolitan and rural narcotic agencies in the United States.
Our courses can provide basic awareness of illicit labs, the hazards involved and how to recognise them through to entry into an active lab, processing and safely shutting down and dismantling a lab in a forensically compliant manner.
